Experimental Physics Department would like to invite his members of personnel to the 2^nd EP-KT Innovation Day organised in collaboration with the CERN Knowledge Transfer (KT) Group. This event will take place on Wednesday 9^th of October 2019 in Room 6-2-024.

mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman"">The aim of the EP-KT Innovation Day is to discover and promote new technologies and ideas that have potential applications outside of High Energy Physics (HEP), in order to maximise the global positive impact of CERN on society. Following an introduction by KT, EP personnel can present their ideas and suggest possible areas of application, as well as how the work could be further developed for successful transfer to external partners. The focus is on new opportunities and ideas, regardless of their stage of development.

mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman"">If you believe that your work has applications outside of CERN & HEP, we invite you to complete the attached submission form and email it to EP-innovation-day@cern.ch by no later than end of day 20th of September.  Applicants will be informed within 10 days whether they are invited to present on 9^th October. Following the Innovation Day, suitable projects will be shortlisted for KT Fund support or other types of support, according to eligibility. The next KT Fund selection committee will be held on 1st  November.
