Noora-Mari Pienimäki joined CERN's Knowledge Transfer team in October 2024.

Her role involves identifying and disseminating CERN's advanced know-how and technologies, particularly in accelerators and healthcare-related applications.

Noora-Mari holds a Master’s degree in Medical Physics from the University of Eastern Finland, and she brings extensive experience in medical physics, including proton therapy, radiotherapy, and cutting-edge medical devices, alongside a strong foundation in scientific research and technical expertise.
